The other night I had got into a situation whereby I was in bed with a girl. We were facing each other and began to kiss. The kiss was gloriously French, she was biting my lip and things yet, afterwards, she just said "that was nice" then turned over in bed and put her back to me.

I assumed it was some sort of body language meaning "that was crap" and so tried to redeem myself by kissing her neck. I asked her if she liked it, to which she responded quite dryly, "yes, its nice." Naturally, after this, I thought she was no longer interested and went to sleep. Later on though, in the morning, I was sitting on the floor next to her bed with my head on her chest, she was playing with my hair and told me I looked sexy.

I've been turning it all over in my head and trying to work it out, see what I did wrong, I think i've blown it. Either I've done something I shouldn't have or I haven't done something she wanted me to do.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm just as confused as you are. It sounds like she's confused as well. Was there alcohol involved? Maybe she was just telling you by turning around that sex wasn't going to happen not because she was turned off but because that was where she wanted to stop.

From what you say she seems to like you and having you around so (I am guessing here) she wants to cool things off, like not getting too close to full blown sex, or although she likes kissing, but is put off by bad breath and does not like to offend you, not the kind of things to say to a guy you like.

A word of warning girls also kiss to test their charms, to see a guy turned on, I remember doing it in my young and stupid days good luck
