Why do men like me better without makeup?

I have noticed that I get more men talking to me, flirting with me, and asking for my number when I am not wearing any makeup and am in jeans and a t-shirt than when I actually put effort into my appearance. Why is this?

I work with children and usually leave my house in the morning looking like you-know-what; I also get hit on a lot while traveling, when I'm tired and in my comfy clothes. Then, I go out to the club and wear something hot, get my hair done, and put on sexy makeup and - nothing. What gives?!?

My mom used to say something about men being intimidated by beautiful women, but then why do they all want to drool over celebrities?

I think that you will find that there are women that have the look of a model and they use alot of makeup and that works for them. I personally know many women that wook better without all that junk. Your perception of yourself is kind of skewed. You are more lovely the way God intended to look and many people spend their lives and a whole bunch of money to get what you seem to have naturally. Enjoy it.

Most men prefer natural beauty over the artificial. Without make up, we know what our REALLY look like. With make up, you are false and we aren't too sure. We might take a chance, but we still want to see you in the morning after the shower, without the make up. Then we can see the real you.

I think your mom may be write. Some guys look at beauty on the outside and say oh shes probably already taken. It might be a combo of that and when you are out you may be focused on who your with like girlfriends. and the guys get timid and afraid to approach. Beauty starts inside anyway. we all get old get wrinkles..etc sooner or later. take pride that guys like you for who you are not what you wear....

ok well the way i feel is that mabye they feel that you look better as yourself then with all the makeup. sometimes people look better with makeup and others dont so i would just lay off the makeup mabye put alittle on but not alot

Guys like a natural looking girl. They dont want to be with someone who cakes makeup on their face becuase that is not the real them, not to mention it's not very cute when you hug a guy and your face comes off on his shirt. Guys like real, down to earth girls. Girls who can be sexy in a t-shirt and sweat pants and sneakers. Being sexy doesn't always mean being dressed to the max.
